  • report your card as lost, damaged or stolen

Get help with your Healthy Start claim

Email or call us

Email healthy.start@nhsbsa.nhs.uk or call 0300 330 7010 to:

  • update your personal details
  • tell us about a change in your circumstances – for example, if you’re more than 10 weeks pregnant or you’ve given birth
  • tell us if you think you’re eligible but you cannot apply online
  • request an interpreter
  • turn off contactless payments on your card
  • ask a question about Healthy Start

If you’re emailing us about an existing Healthy Start claim, use the email address you gave us when you applied – this will be the email we send your regular payment notifications to.

Phone lines are open 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday (except public holidays).
